What we aim to do

• Offer support to you and your carers by being available to listen on the telephone or to respond by email

  

• Help you ask the questions you need answers to

• Guide you to information in English about cancer and its treatment in France

• Visit you at home or in hospital if this is possible

• Welcome you to group meetings

• Have fun together

Who we are

• We are all volunteers

• Some of us have had cancer ourselves

• Some of us have been treated in France

• Many of us have had experience of nursing or supporting those affected by cancer

• Some of us have other therapeutic skills to offer

• Some of us speak French and may be able to help you communicate more effectively

• Some of us have received training from MacMillan Cancer Support

• Some of us are medically trained
