Lyon Update

Hello, everyone!  CSF Lyon, one of the newest associations in the Cancer Support France network, is raring to go in 2012.  We are very excited about our new bureau and dedicated volunteer corps and are in the beginning stages of planning what we hope will be a very busy year.  

 
For starters, the Lyon Helpline is officially live!  Please refer English-speaking Lyonnais (clients and volunteers alike) to 07 61 42 76 97 or to our email address (lyon.csf@gmail.com).
 
We are initiating monthly meetings/events, which will be dedicated to specific topics:
  • January 12th – active listeners meeting
  • February 9th – outreach and fundraising strategies
  • March 8th – Annual General Meeting
  • April 12th - (tentative) informational presentation
We are also building a resource library for use by both volunteers and clients.
 
Thank you for all of your support so far.  We are excited about the potential for our association in Lyon.
