Monteton Christmas Fair

MONTETON MARCHÉ DE NOËL SATURDAY 19^th NOVEMBER       

The ninth Monteton Marché de Noël will be held at the Salle de Fetes in Monteton (between Eymet in the Dordogne and Duras in the Lot et Garonne) on Saturday the 19^th November between 10 am and 4 pm. The Fair is now organised for the second year by Cancer Support France, whose work benefits so many people suffering from, or affected by, cancer. The organisers like to think the event marks the start of the Christmas Season, with a large variety of beautiful gift ideas, crafts and food. This year will again see many new stalls as well as many old favourites, together with lovely homemade food at reasonable prices. Freshly ground coffee, tea and soft drinks will be again be available, in addition you can also avail yourself of a glass of wine at Chater’s bar.

As well as gifts, crafts and food, in the dining area there is a good selection of books old and new for sale and we have noticed with some amusement that customers can’t resist checking out a book or two while they enjoy their lunch. There is no entry charge, there will also be a free raffle ticket on entry for everyone and live music will be played.
